Hook’s father is abusive. He is later imprisoned for killing Hook’s mother.
This book tells the villain’s side from The Forgotten Beast. There is war related death, along with the murder of Hook’s mother (not on page).
Peter is constantly blackmailing Wendy into being with him. He continually threatens her with her brothers’ lives.
