Freya Victoria is a Texas native who always wanted to write her own books. Long before she ever finished one, she has devoured novels from every genre, sometimes reading them aloud, complete with character voices, ever since she was a kid.

She didn’t start narrating professionally until fall 2021, but that childhood habit of performing stories she loved turned into a career, and eventually into a genuine passion for narrating.

In early 2023, The Forgotten Beast, her debut fantasy romance, took over her brain completely.

You can find her most days in the recording booth working on someone’s audiobook, recording episodes of the podcast she hosts as Bree Carlile (Bite at a Time Books), or on the couch reading and writing. She lives in Texas with her husband and daughter, and someday hopes to move somewhere in the country where she won’t have to edit her neighbor’s lawnmower or the trash truck out of every single recording.
